Clarinetist/comedian Christopher Hall will be your guide to everything you've always wanted to know about the orchestra but were afraid to ask! Find out the difference between contemporary music and a migraine, what a musician thinks about while playing, and - dare we ask - do we really need a conductor? Novices and music lovers alike will enjoy the show, which includes Mozart's Clarinet Concerto and favourite works by Britten, Beethoven, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, and Bach.

The North Bay Symphony, directed by Thomas Jones, entertains, enriches, and educates the community through musical performances and music education programs. The NBSO presents a five-concert main series at the Capitol Centre and a two-concert chamber music series at St. Andrew's United Church as well as several outreach performances throughout the community. In-school music education programs annually reach over 1,200 students across the region, the Symphony String School provides violin, viola, cello, and guitar lessons to students of all ages and all abilities, and the Youth Orchestra offers ensemble learning and performing opportunities to young musicians.
